The River Club
Architectural Review Board
is charged with reviewing building plans to include landscaping of new home construction. Also reviewed are exterior changes to any home, including room additions, porch enclosures, exterior color changes and exterior material changes, in essence, any changes made to the outside of a home. The review board will consider new construction or proposed alterations to include the planning, landscaping and existing character of the neighborhood and balance the expectations of the individual owner with those of his neighbors within the architectural review board guidelines in place for River Club .
Major landscape changes on existing homes will also be reviewed including tree removal. General yard maintenance is also reviewed and must comply with the associations covenants. On a quarterly basis the ARB members will be reviewing all River Club properties for compliance. If a property is determined to be in violation of ARB covenants, a letter will be sent by Waccamaw Management. giving the property owner 30 days to correct the violation. If not corrected, the board, through Waccamaw Management, has the authority to levy fines of between $25.00 to $50.00 per day until the violation is corrected.
